Borras Awarded Place on New NHS Framework Agreement
Borras are delighted to announce we have successfully secured a place on the National Health Service’s latest Construction Framework.
Developed by the NHS London Procurement Project, the 4 year long agreement was formed to provide a flexible procurement solution for public sector organisations when procuring works projects. Schemes awarded through the framework will be split across 70 lots in total. By breaking down contractors into relevant work categories, regions, and project value bands it is hoped participating authorities can streamline the process of identifying the most appropriate contractor for their project, and maximise savings and project efficiencies.
Borras submitted bids for 4 separate work category and value lots, all of which we were successful with:
- General Building Works £500k – £2m
- General Building Works £2m – £5m
- Heritage Works £500k – £2m
- Heritage Works £2m – £5m
Projects will be allocated to our General Contracts, Special Works and London Divisions, dependant on size and location, each of the lots are also broken down into 3 regions covering London, East of England and the South East.
We are delighted with the building, the site team understood the school environment and they were a pleasure to deal with throughout the project. I would have no hesitation in recommending Borras to other schools and we have just reappointed them for our next major project.
