Borras – Road to Net Zero …

With the protection of the world which we live in at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts, at Borras we continually consider how we can minimise our impact and contribute to the preservation and enhancement of the delicate environment in which we reside. Having already reduced our Carbon Emissions by 32% (from baseline), we are now redoubling our efforts and making our commitment to Net Zero Carbon though our “Road to Net Zero” Action Plan that is focused on achieving;

• Net Zero for our Scope 1 and 2 business emissions by 2040
• Net Zero for our Scope 3 emissions by 2045

This critical goal, its focus to meet the UKs 2050 target as identified within the UKs Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) required under the United Nations ‘Paris Agreement’, is imperative in order to keep global warming to no more than 1.5 °C, protecting our habitable climate which has, for so many years been taken for granted.
