Borras Start on Site at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School
Borras General Contracts Division have recently commenced works at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Isleworth. The £1.5m project which is on behalf of the London Borough of Hounslow involves the construction of a new single storey Early Years’ Building within the existing school grounds.
The new building will feature 2 classrooms, a group room, a multi purpose room, toilets and a large external canopy which will provide a covered external play area.
The first few weeks on site has seen hoarding erected around the site perimeter in order to keep students and staff completely segregated and the creation of a new access road which now runs along side the neighbouring Church’s Presbytery (pictured above).
Site Manager Ron Wood is managing the project with completion due in May 2016.
The foundations of the new building in progress
The project’s challenging time-scale, particularly in the run up to Christmas, has been met with the skill and professionalism that we’ve come to expect from Borras Construction over the past 10+ years you’ve worked with Brunel University.
