Construction begins at Henlow Church of England Academy
Borras, working with consultants PCMS Design and Marstan BDB, were thrilled to recently kick off an exciting expansion project at Henlow Church of England Academy.
The £2.2m project will see the construction of a new steel framed 4 court sports hall, complete with changing facilities and an adjoining two storey 4 classroom block. Associated external works will also create additional parking spaces as well as a dedicated drop off/pick up area. The new facilities, which are scheduled to be completed in time for the new September term will allow the school to dramatically increase their pupil intake over the coming years.
Now into week 6 the groundwork’s are complete and the erection of the steel frame has began, as pictured above. Below is an artist impression of the final build, check back soon for further updates from site.
In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, we are keen to reassure our employees, clients, project stakeholders and supply-chain partners, that we are taking the necessary precautions in relation to a healthy working environment across our sites and operations.
