Progress at Hounslow Heath Junior School

Borras’ General Contracts Division are currently completing a £2.3m project at Hounslow Heath Junior School on behalf of the London Borough of Hounslow.

Several sections of the works, which began in June 2015 are already complete, including:

  • The formation of a new year 5 classroom from the existing dining hall
  • The reconfiguration and refurbishment of toilet blocks within the existing school
  • The upgrade of external gas, water and electrical services together with a replacement boiler room

Ongoing works include a single storey cross laminated timber extension (pictured), which will house a replacement dining hall together with a separate brick and block classroom extension elsewhere on site.

The project is being handled by Site Managers Mark Lloyd and Harry Docherty and is due for completion in February 2016.
