Careers and Training
At Borras, we look for ways to encourage and support those looking for a way back into work, or those leaving education and looking for their first role.
We engage with local communities in search of those who may have been out of the workplace for some time, and out of routine. In such circumstances we may offer Work Placements, Work Experience, or simply help with CV writing. We offer the same to schools and colleges who we approach to host or get involved with any career focused days or workshops.
We also offer an in-house Management Trainee Programme, where trainees often join us straight from school with no previous construction experience.
Our structured programme sees them spend time in all our departments, both on site and in our head office, whilst completing studies on day release.
If you’re looking for your next job and think you may be suited to one of our roles, please feel free to contact us. By attaching and sending across your CV through our Vacancies page, you’ll be considered for any opportunities that arise in the future.
In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, we are keen to reassure our employees, clients, project stakeholders and supply-chain partners, that we are taking the necessary precautions in relation to a healthy working environment across our sites and operations.
