At Borras Construction, we’re committed to delivering works efficiently, whilst understanding the vision of our clients and their communities. The project, carried out in partnership with One YMCA, involved extensive planning and delivery to achieve the completed external refurbishment.
The scope of works here included roof replacements, the installation of fascias, new soffits and guttering as part of the refurbishment to the One YMCA store building. The original building was split in two to include a café and a community hall. The internal walls required dry lining, with the completed shell ready for a commercial kitchen to be fitted by the client.
The project was completed over a single phase. The works commenced in late January 2018, following through to June 2018, totalling a duration of five months.
In addition to the works, we carried out further landscaping, which involved laying new tarmac and the development of walkways, including access ramps for the disabled, creating a regenerated and modern surrounding area. Our Borras Special Works team, who carry out smaller and often fast track projects were responsible for delivering this project.
