Tour of new facilities at West Lea School
The Borras project team at West Lea School recently gave pupils and staff an informative tour of their soon to be completed new build extension.
Following a short safety briefing the children donned Borras hard hat’s and high-vis vest’s and set out onto site. The visit provided an opportunity for the children to look around and explore their spacious new classrooms whilst they are still being built. Borras Project Manager Stuart Aylieff was on hand to fully detail progress to date and try and provide a vision of what the completed build will look like.
Our General Contracts Division began the £3.3m project in September 2017 on behalf of The London Borough of Enfield. The two storey new build extension will provide an additional 8 classrooms, toilet blocks and a new glazed main entrance to the school. Additional works will include alterations and refurbishments within the existing school and external improvements including the provision of additional parking.

We are working with consultants DHP and Stace to deliver the scheme which is scheduled for completion in September 2018.
In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, we are keen to reassure our employees, clients, project stakeholders and supply-chain partners, that we are taking the necessary precautions in relation to a healthy working environment across our sites and operations.
